Hocking Valley Community Hospital Foundation has received an $11,000 donation from Hocking Hills Podcast from the 2023 Jeep Run.
Every October, Jeepers gather in the Hocking Hills to join a day of Jeepin’ fun for a good cause. This past year more than 160 Jeeps participated. The event was organized and hosted by Hocking Hills Podcast and managing partners Michele Mauder and Mary McMartin with proceeds benefiting Hocking Valley Community Hospital Foundation.
Jeepers gathered at Campbell Cove Campground to prepare for a day of cruising through the beautiful hills of Hocking County. Guests came from several different states to engage in the fundraiser.
Participants’ first stop of the run was Jack Pine Studio in Laurelville. After shopping and glass-blowing demonstrations, the Jeepers moved on to an off-road obstacle course. The final stop of the day was Campbell Cove Campground for dinner and awards.
Sponsors for the event included: Dr. Christian Gedeon, Hocking Hills Winery, Hocking Hills.com, Hocking Hills Moonshine and Dr. Prakash Kudlapur.
“We are so thankful to Hocking Hills Podcast and all the guests who registered for this event to support our hospital. Additionally, special thanks to all who volunteered or donated food, cash/items to make this event happen. Much time and effort was put into this fundraiser and we are humbled once again by the support of our community,” HVCH CEO Stacey Gabriel said.
This year’s event date has been set for the first weekend of October.
