Prompt Pay Discount
A discount of 15% will be provided for patient responsibility amounts (copay, deductible, self-pay amounts) paid at the time of service or paid in full within 30 days of insurance payment.
Payment Plans
- All payment arrangement accounts with balances of $600 or less will be required to pay a minimum of $50 per month towards the balance. Any amount less than $50 on a balance of $600 or less will cause the account to progress in the statement cycle and could result in being referred to collections even if a payment has been made.

Any amount less than $100 on a balance of $601 or more will cause the account to progress in the statement cycle and could result in being referred to collections even if a payment has been made.
Availability of Uncompensated Services
HVCH is committed to providing financial assistance to patients who have healthcare needs and are either uninsured or underinsured. Financial assistance is available to all patients making up to 350% of the federal poverty level (FPL) and Hocking County Residents up to 400% of the FPL. This does not affect eligibility for the Prompt Pay Discount.

Interest Charges
Hocking Valley Community Hospital currently does not charge interest on unpaid accounts.
